As Xiaomi’s first 6MP indoor camera, it pairs a professional-grade 6P high-transparency optical lens with an f/1.6 large aperture and WDR to reproduce every detail in vivid, true-to-life clarity — so faces, movement and fine detail all come through crisply.Bright, Full-Colour Footage Even in Low LightA 1/2.45-inch ultra-large BSI image sensor gives the C500 an expansive, highly light-sensitive surface, so it handles dim evening conditions with ease and keeps producing rich, full-colour images long after the sun goes down. When it’s truly dark, eight 940nm infrared fill lights deliver detailed night vision without any visible red glow — so a sleeping child or pet is never disturbed.Flagship AI Chip for Smarter Detection and TrackingAt the heart of the camera is a flagship AI chip with 1T of computing power, handling fast, accurate recognition locally on the device. It detects and tracks both people and pets (cats and dogs), sending prompt notifications straight to your phone and automatically following the action before returning to its set gimbal position. A local algorithm keeps detection quick and accurate while minimising false alarms.Built-In Privacy and Bank-Grade SecurityPrivacy is protected from the source. The C500 supports physical masking — the lens physically tucks up into the body to block its view, and you can set timed or scheduled masking to suit your routine. Inside, a dedicated MJA1 security chipset gives every camera a unique key and certificate, with multi-layer cloud encryption safeguarding your footage with financial-grade protection.Fast, Flexible and Effortless Smart-Home ControlDual-band 2.4GHz 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 with OFDMA keeps connections fast and stable for smooth high-definition playback. The dual-motor pan-tilt design gives you 360° horizontal and 116° vertical coverage, controllable right from your smartphone. It works with Xiaomi HyperOS Connect for seamless smart-home routines — including auto-hiding the lens when you arrive home — supports two-way voice calls, and responds to Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free viewing. Footage can be saved in three ways: microSD card (8GB–256GB), cloud storage or NAS, with efficient H.265 encoding to save space.FEATURES:3.5K ultra-HD resolution (3200 × 1800), Xiaomi’s first 6MP indoor camera6P high-transparency optical lens with f/1.6 large aperture and WDR1/2.45-inch ultra-large BSI image sensor for strong low-light, full-colour imagingEight 940nm infrared fill lights for enhanced night vision with no visible red glowFlagship AI chip with 1T computing power for fast, accurate local recognitionHuman and pet detection and tracking (cats and dogs) with smartphone alertsAuto return to gimbal position after tracking360° horizontal and 116° vertical pan-tilt coverage (dual-motor design)Dual-band 2.4GHz 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 with OFDMA for faster, more stable connectionsMJA1 security chipset with a unique key and certificate per deviceMulti-layer cloud encryption for secure data transfersPhysical privacy masking with timed and scheduled optionsXiaomi HyperOS Connect support, including “I’m Home” auto lens hidingTwo-way voice calls via Xiaomi HomeVoice control with Amazon Alexa and Google AssistantH.265 encoding for smoother playback and reduced storage useThree storage modes: microSD card, cloud storage and NASSupports inverted/ceiling mountingSPECIFICATIONS:Resolution: 3200 × 1800 (6MP)Image Sensor: 1/2.45-inch BSILens: 6P, f/1.6 apertureField of View: 360° horizontal, 116° verticalNight Vision: 8 × 940nm infrared fill lightsWireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0Storage: microSD card (8GB–256GB supported), cloud storage and NASVideo Encoding: H.265Compatibility: Android 8 & iOS 12.0 or abovePower Port: USB Type-CRated Input: 5V⎓2AOperating Temperature: -10°C to 40°CProduct Dimensions: 7.9 × 7.9 × 11.9 cmWHAT’S IN THE BOX:Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 x1Power Adapter x1Charging Cable x1User Manual x1Wall Mounting Kit x1Why Xiaomi?Xiaomi designs smart, beautifully simple technology that makes everyday life safer and more connected, and the Smart Camera C500 is a standout example — flagship imaging, intelligent monitoring and thoughtful privacy in one compact, easy-to-use device.
